The Parks Collective Agency is what happens when broadcast culture, brand strategy, and community storytelling are built into one room.
PCA exists to turn story into outcomes. We build the frameworks, programs, and creative architecture that allow nonprofits, institutions, and brands to be heard, trusted, and remembered.
The agency was founded on a simple belief: the message and the strategy underneath it cannot live in separate buildings.
For most organizations, the story is one team's job and the strategy is another team's job. The brand team writes the language. The strategy team writes the plan. They meet at the deck and pretend the gap is not there.
PCA was built to close that gap. Every engagement starts from the same question: what is the story this organization, brand, or initiative is actually telling, and is the strategy underneath it strong enough to carry it?
From there we architect everything else. The frameworks. The campaigns. The programs. The IP. The on-the-ground experiences. Always so the story can move with intention across every platform, partner, and audience touchpoint.
We do this work for nonprofits and institutions through our Impact track, for campaigns and live experiences through our Engagement track, for founders and brands through our Brands & Business track, and for the rare engagement that needs everything aligned, through full custom Narrative Architecture.
Founder. Chief Story Architect. Brand strategist. Speaker. Author. Cultural strategist.
For more than 25 years, Shonda Hatch has worked at the intersection of communication, culture, and community. Before founding The Parks Collective Agency, she built trust as a broadcaster, programmer, educator, and community leader across Oklahoma, Louisiana, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, and Ohio.
Her work has always centered the same question: how do you give people language for where they are going? PCA brings that question into strategy, program design, brand architecture, and social impact storytelling.
Across Cincinnati, Cleveland, Louisville, and St. Louis, Shonda was the voice listeners woke up to, drove home to, and called in for. She built the kind of audience trust that media buyers cannot buy, then translated that lived experience into a strategy practice.
Her career put her in rooms with the brands every founder is trying to get into. National activations, on-air integrations, and brand-led storytelling for some of the largest names in the country.
Shonda's public work has been recognized by civic institutions and regional Black leadership platforms, including the Missouri State Senate, the City of Cincinnati, and Who's Who in Black Cleveland, Louisville, and Cincinnati.
To build what came next.
The Parks Collective Agency and 31B Innovation Studios are what 25 years of paying attention become when story, strategy, production, and cultural fluency finally sit in the same room. PCA is the social impact and strategy firm. 31B is the in-house production house that builds what the strategy demands.
Shonda is currently a featured panelist for the 2026 NCBAE Conference and a 2026 Her Tribe Women of Influence Honoree. She is also the author of Sis, Check On Your Heart, a real talk wellness guide for women putting themselves back on the list, and The Misadventures of Boogie & Friends children's book series.
Four leadership voices. Strategy, narrative, operations, and on-the-ground execution. Each person handles a different part of the work, and the work is better because of it.
Tell us about your work. We will tell you what is possible.
